Early M-SYSTEM 50mm F1.8

It's been a while since the last update. Not having too much time to update the blog but I have added some items.

An M-SYSTEM 50mm F1.8 with the 100xxx serial.

Still not having a clear idea how Olympus assigned the serial numbers back in the days, maybe they followed the sequence or they just randomly assigned them. Who knows? Some very early M-1 models have later serials than some later models, of course maybe someone swapped the bottom plates which we will never know. Wonder if anyone has any idea on that still.

However, if you collect a certain serial pattern like me then it doesn't really matter. I tend to believe that the 100xxx serial is the start of the whole thing.

So this is a 100717. I saw one of these 100xxx 50mm F1.8 a year or two ago and I didn't get it. After missing a 1003xx M-1 body, I got my hands on some 100xxx lenses. Therefore, I started looking for them.

Now, among the nine M-SYSTEM lenses (excluding the 38mm F3.5 Macro), I am still looking for a 35/2.8 and 200/4 in this 100xxx serial pattern. I have seen the 35/2.8 before but not the 200/4. I truly wonder if the latter one with such an early serial exists or if they are only in catalogues.
