Ultra rare boxed items

Sometimes the lens hoods are even rarer than the lenses, especially when they come in boxes.

The first one is this...

The M-SYSTEM version 55mm F1.2 lens hood.

It's rare because it comes with the M version box. On Mark Dapoz's website, it is documented that there is an M-SYSTEM lens hood for the three lenses, the 50mm F1.8, 1.4 and the 35mm F2.8. However, this is not documented. The hood itself is basically the same as the OM version, however, it's the box that makes it special. I have never seen one before so I am very happy to have added this to my collection.

Next, not M-SYSTEM version lens hood but still ultra rare.

The OM 21mm F2 original lens hood.

The lens was pretty rare back in film days, now they can be get on eBay sometimes but with a crazy price tag. However, not the same case for the hood.

Even back in the days, the hood was very rare and now it's pretty hard for one of these to show up.

Not to mention one in original box.

The lens hood is in pretty good condition. It's a very huge lens hood so it looks really cute when mounted on the camera.

It's super nice to look at when paired with other rare OM items.
