M-SYSTEM accessories
M-SYSTEM accessories, something that you may come across when looking for Olympus OM items.
Compared to the M-SYSTEM lenses, these M version accessories are sometimes even rarer.
On Mark Dapoz's M-1 information page, you can see photos of some of the M version accessories.
They include bellows, macro stands, filters and many others.
For boxed bellows and stands, those are super hard to find. So far, I have only seen one M version bellows and never seen an M version stand.
However, I managed to locate some rare items. The followings are not documented even on Mark's site.
49mm and 55mm M-SYSTEM version close-up lens (filters) in original boxes.

It's almost like NEW except the 49mm had a bit of fungus, an easy wipe got it fixed.

The original cases, papers and manuals are also included.
The above piece of blue paper perhaps explained the name change.
I believe it shows that Olympus made the change by the Japanese year 48, meaning around 1973 Apr.
Perhaps, the change was carried out but there were still M boxes left so they included this blue paper to explain what was going on.
I can't comprehend Japanese but based on some of the wordings, I believe it says M and OM are pretty much similar and should demonstrate equal performances.
I will try to google translate it maybe and see what it says exactly.
Interesting finds, and there are some upcoming ones.
Cheers,
Wilfred
