Some rare information I found

From the previous post, you may notice that on the brochure it's an M-1.

To Zuikoholics, that's not something unfamiliar. The M-1 is the predecessor of the OM1. You can easily read about the history regarding the name change. It is said that Leica was unhappy with OM's naming system because they had the M-series camera earlier than OM did so Maitani-San changed it to the later renowned OM-System. However, a bunch of M-SYSTEM cameras and lenses were manufactured and had been sold to the public before Leica filed the complaint. Because of that, Zuikoholics like me hunt these items.

Today I was surfing the net to see if I could locate some information about the items I want and bumped into some information about the M-1. I will repost it here and hopefully the owner wouldn't mind.

You can see a 1200mm F14 in this M-1 lens road map, I guess it's a prototype only. I have seen the 1000mm lens for sale but not the 1200mm so far.

It's in Japanese so I have no idea what it's about. That said though, I haven't seen these before so it's a pretty good find.
